Maya Gosztyla is a graduate student pursing her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California San Diego. She is interested in drug discover research for neurodegenerative diseases. She earned her B.S. degree in Neuroscience and Molecular Genetics from the Ohio State University in 2018, then spent the following year as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health. In her free time, Maya enjoys writing about neurodegeneration and brain health on her blog, AlzScience.
